India declared at 649/9 their 1st innings on Day 2 of 1st Test Match with West Indies being played in Rajkot. Prithvi Shaw, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja scored centuries. While Ravindra Jadeja brought up his maiden Test at his home ground in Rajkot On the other hand Prithvi Shaw making his international debut has become second youngest to hit century in his debut match after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. He made 134 runs. India started day two at 364/4 with Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.

India have crossed the 500-run mark on Day 2 while having four wickets in hand.

Indain skipper Virat Kohli hit the 24 ton and 17th as captain. He made 139 runs in 184 deliveries. Pant was dismissed for 92 runs. He faced 84 balls and hit 8 fours and 4 sixes grabbing the attention of spectators with bat.

 

At the same time, captain Virat Kohli slowly increased his score, he faced 230 balls and smashed 10 fours, he became the victim of Sharman Lewis. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja hit maiden Test hundred against West Indies. The left-handed batsman touched the magically three-figure mark off 132 balls. The 29-year-old hit five sixes and five fours during his inning. Interestingly India declared their innings one ball after Jadeja's hundred.  From Indian side Pujara also played well and made 86 runs while WI side Bishoo  took 4 wickets for 217.
