India vs West Indies Test 1: Kohli’s unbeaten century

Captain Virat Kohli's undefeated century put India in a impressive position on the first day of the opening cricket test against West Indies in Antigua yesterday. Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bat first.

Virat Kohli was on 143 at stumps as the visitors reached 302 for four. Kohli played freely on both sides of the wicket with a rich array of strokes and posted his 12th test century and second highest test score. He shared a 105-run stand for the third wicket with Shikhar Dhawan.

Opener Shikhar scored 84 while Ravichandran Ashwin was 22 not out at stumps. The West Indies bowlers toiled hard for little reward on a flat pitch but only leg spinner Devendra Bishoo managed three wickets for 108 in 27 overs. Sports News Content
