Melbourne: Today is the third day of the day-night Test between India and Australia women's cricket teams. The Test is being played at Carara in Gold Coast, Australia. The first two days of play were fully dominated by rain, which prevented the entire day's play. India was 276 for 5 when the second day's play ended. India have now declared their first innings on the third day of the match.

Team India declared their first innings at 377 for 8. Smriti Mandhana scored a brilliant 127 in the first innings for India. Deepti Sharma scored a half-century of 66 runs. Mithali Raj (30) and Poonam Raut (36) also contributed significantly. For Australia, Alice Parry, Stella Campbell and Sophie took 2 wickets each, while Ashley Gardner took 1 wicket.

Chasing a target of 377 runs, Australia were 9 for no loss. For Australia, Alyssa Healy on 7 and Beth Moony on 2 are at the crease. Australia are currently 368 runs short to Team India.
