The rivers are in spate and are bent on breaking all boundaries. From UP to Bihar, Bengal to Northeast, Maharashtra to Madhya Pradesh and from Assam to Arunachal Pradesh, rain has come in many parts of the country.

Heavy rainfall in Akola in Maharashtra broke the record, while rivers are running in spate in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. Akola city has received 4 mm of rain in the last few hours. There is a double whammy of weather at this time on the mountains. Rain on one side and landslide on the other. People are in awe due to falling mountain on Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway. National Highway-58 is the only route to Chamoli to Rishikesh and from Rishikesh to Badrinath. If this stops, then the problem of the people increases. Bihar has also become completely confused due to floods and rains.

Kosi, Gandak, Bagmati have been flooded due to Nepal's release of water. The weather has become pleasant with the wind blowing in the national capital. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), with the wind blowing at a speed of 50-80 km per hour, thunderstorm and rain are expected in some areas.
