New Delhi: The three-match ODI and T20 series between Team India and the West Indies are scheduled to be played next month. The tour will begin with the first ODI in Ahmedabad on February 6. In the meantime, a big news has come out about the India-West Indies series. In fact, in the ODI series between India and The West Indies, fans will not be seen cheering for Team India. 

The Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) had on Tuesday confirmed that the upcoming three-match ODI series between India and the West Indies will be played behind closed doors. This decision has been taken in view of the corona situation. The Gujarat Cricket Association tweeted, "In view of the current situation, all the matches will be played behind closed doors.' He said that we are fully prepared to host the West Indies Tour of India ODI Series 2022. The first ODI on February 6 will be a very special and historic match as India will play their 1000th ODI. Team India will be the first cricket team in the world to achieve this feat.

Team India is all set to play three ODIs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from February 6. This will be followed by a T20 series at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from February 16.
