'India will become world's 2nd largest economy soon': Gautam Adani

New Delhi: By the year 2030, India will become the third-largest economy in the world. Gautam Adani, the third richest person in the world, has expressed this belief. According to Gautam Adani, the country's economy will reach the second position in the world by 2050. Adani said these things while addressing the World Congress of Accountants 2022 in Mumbai.

As per the report, Adani has said that the next three decades will take India to the forefront of entrepreneurship. Adani further said that the speed of unicorns in India is the fastest in the world. He said that I hope that the number of startups will lead to venture capital i.e. VC funding in India. India has already seen a jump of $50 billion in VC funding in 8 years. Regarding renewable energy, Adani said that the combination of solar and green energy, together with green hydrogen, will create huge opportunities for the future. Adani said that by the year 2050, India has the potential to become a net exporter of green energy. Along with this, Adani has praised the initiative of the central government led by PM Narendra Modi regarding the country's economy.

Adani further said that it took us 58 years to achieve the first trillion dollars of GDP. Whereas, it took 12 years to get the next 1 trillion dollars and just 5 years for the third trillion. Adani said that by 2050 India will become a $30 trillion economy. At the same time, the stock market capital will probably exceed $45 trillion.
