Team India lead the series by 2-0 after the glorious victory at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, today on October 3, 2016. Being the host the national team got their collar high as their performance lead them to get back on the number one spot in the ICC Test Team ratings.
The team secured to be ahead of the opponent by 178 run and winning the 2nd test in the Bengal field. Ironically this was also the 250th match of team India in the Eden Gardens, and winning this match was a cherry on the cake. The team exhibited a fabulous all-round performance. From the fourth wicket partnership of Rahane and Oujara in the first inning to Ashwins and Bhuwaneshwar kumar’s excellent bowling performance, this test was a Super win for the team.
Also, India got back on the ranking by removing their Arch-Enimies, Pakistan from the number one position.
