IAF and Navy conduct exercise in Indian Ocean with US Navy

New Delhi: The Indian Air Force, The Indian Navy, and the US Navy have been conducting a major exercise of strategic importance in the Indian Ocean since Wednesday. On the first day, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy, and the US Navy Ronald Reagan CSG fought together. In the meantime, the trio showed their strength. The Indian Air Force has also released a video of the same where the trio is seen fighting together.

 

 

Indian Navy spokesman Commander Vivek Madhaval said the two-day exercise is aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation. The IAF is participating in the exercise with Jaguar Fighter Jet, Sukhoi-30 MKI, Falcon AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) aircraft, Netra AEWAC (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft, and IL-78 Mid.

Indian warships INS Kochi and Teg as well as P-8I submarine hunter aircraft and MiG-29 aircraft are also conducting exercises. Also participating in the 'Ronald Reagan' Career Strike Group (Carrier Strike Group-CSG) practice on behalf of the U.S. Navy. This exercise is part of a strategic outreach exercise with the US. For some time now, the US Navy's carrier strike group has been practicing with the Indian Navy whenever it passes through the Indian Ocean.
