New Delhi: The Indian Air Force has made full preparations to show its strength on Air Force Day. Air Force Day is celebrated every year on October 8. For this, the Air Force has made special preparations. In view of Air Force Day, an air show is being organized in Chandigarh. 83 aircraft will be involved in this air show. Of the aircraft, 44 fighter aircraft, 7 transport aircraft, 20 helicopters and 7 vintage aircraft will participate in the air show.

At the same time, 9 aircraft will be kept on standby. This time the speciality of the air show will be that new light combat helicopters will also show their guts. Two days before the air show, Air Force Chief VR Chaudhary said on Tuesday that the Indian Air Force has taken appropriate measures to deal with Chinese activities along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. Addressing a press conference ahead of Air Force Day, he said the recent developments globally reflect the need for an empowered army to overcome any challenge.
Air Chief Marshal Chaudhary further said that the Indian Air Force is preparing for all kinds of security challenges including the 'worst-case scenario'. The Air Force is fully prepared to face any situation.
