Indian Air Force jawan arrested on charges of espionage, was trapped in honey trap on social media

New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested an Indian Air Force jawan on charges of espionage. The name of the accused has been given as Devendra Sharma. Delhi Police suspects the involvement of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI in this entire work. It is alleged that an attempt has been made to collect sensitive information related to IAF by first trapping IAF jawan Devendra Sharma in the honey trap. The police have also found some suspicious transactions in the bank account of the wife of the accused.

According to sources, the accused Devendra Sharma is said to be a resident of Kanpur. According to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, an attempt has been made to collect sensitive information related to the Air Force by trapping the accused in a honey trap. According to the police, an attempt was being made to get information from Devendra Sharma that how many radars are deployed where? Efforts have also been made to get the names and addresses of senior Air Force officers. After inputs from the intelligence agency in this regard, the crime branch arrested the accused Devendra Sharma on 6 May.

According to Crime Branch sources, Devendra Sharma has been caught from Dhaula Kuan. Devendra Sharma is said to be a resident of Kanpur. It is being told that he befriended a woman through social media. After this, the woman caught Devendra Sharma in the trap by talking obscenely on the phone and then tried to collect sensitive information from him. The number from which the said woman used to talk to Devendra Sharma is the number of the Indian service provider.
