The reigning world champions, who were seeded No. 1, showcased their dominance by defeating Turkey and Estonia on their way to the summit clash.
The trio, including reigning U-18 and senior champion Aditi Swami, Asian Games gold medalist Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and Parneet Kaur, excelled throughout the competition, dropping just 10 points in their two matches. In the mixed team category, Abhishek Verma and Jyothi Surekha Vennam secured a gold medal by defeating Estonia 158-157, marking India's third gold medal at the Shanghai World Cup.
Earlier, the Indian men's compound archery team of Prathamesh Fuge, Priyansh, and Abhishek Verma claimed gold by defeating the Netherlands 238-231. The men's team narrowly missed breaking the world record set by Team USA in the 2011 Turin World Cup by just one point. Later in the day, Vennam and Priyansh will compete in the compound individual women's and men's semi-final matches.
