Jaisalmer: The Indian Army will thwart the enemy's malicious plans and annihilate the foes from the Pakistani border to the Chinese border. Military drills are being held to see how this task will be done. From Arunachal Pradesh to Ladakh, from Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh, the Indian Army is conducting ferocious military drills. EWT, or 'Exercise with Troops,' is the army's yearly military exercise.

This exercise prepares a blueprint for how the army would behave in various situations and scenarios. It plots an operation by debating every aspect of warfare. Then it must be confirmed on the ground. Several Army commanders are now validating it in various geographical and weather situations. The drill in Ladakh, which investigated how to unload and take control of the jawans at a specified spot, was just concluded last week. In collaboration with the Air Force, a winter stocking airlift exercise was also undertaken.

In Kashmir, an exercise to validate operation planning along the Line of Control, i.e. the Pakistan border, is underway. The Indian Army is also conducting manoeuvres in Jaisalmer at the same time. Army training for the Line of Actual Control, i.e. the China Border, is taking place in several sectors.

The central sector is being practised on the Himalayan range in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Military exercises began last week at an altitude of 15,000 feet in Arunachal Pradesh. The ongoing exercise in Jaisalmer will end on November 26.
