Srinagar: Indian Army has given a befitting reply to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan. A Pakistani soldier has been killed on Friday in retaliation by the Indian Army. Army sources have said that many Pakistani soldiers have also been injured in this retaliation. Pakistan had violated the ceasefire in Kupwara. For the past several days, Pak has been trying to infiltrate into India from the Neelum Valley. The slain Pakistani soldier has been identified as Imtiaz Ali.

It is noteworthy that earlier on February 9, Pakistani troops fired unprovoked firing on the border in Poonch district in violation of ceasefire. In retaliatory firing, the Indian Army had piled four Pakistani soldiers and destroyed more than half a dozen outposts. The defense spokesman had said that Pakistani troops started firing at the border in Balakot and Mendhar sector of Poonch district at around 12:50 pm with small arms for unprovoked and later fired ammunition from mortars.

After which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply in retaliation. More than half a dozen outposts located in the Chidikot area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) were destroyed in the action by Indian troops. Military spokesman has said that Pakistan had fired in the area without reason.
