NEW DELHI: The Indian Army is all set to retaliate against any Action by Pakistan along the border. Pakistan can do any nefarious act under the guise of the Kashmir issue. Pakistan is trying its best to create unrest in the valley. For this, the LOC is trying to infiltrate more and more before the cold starts by violating the siege. For this, Pakistan is depositing a large number of its troops from the Afghanistan border along the Indo-Pak border.

The Indian Army has made preparations at various levels to check infiltration along with the smashing response of the Pak Army. According to army sources, Pakistan is trying to strike not only the LoC but also the International Border (IB) bordering Kashmir, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan. According to the Army's intelligence report, the Pak Army and the ISI are working on the scheme separately. As a result, the Defence Ministry and the Home Ministry are working together to make special arrangements on the IB.

Significantly, the IB is not manned by the Army but the BSF. The Army has also been asked to be prepared to assist the BSF under the new arrangements. Army sources said, due to the cold start principle of the Indian Army, Pakistan will think ten times before going directly to the alternative to war.

Under the cold start principle, which was devised after the attack on Parliament, India can start war at any time. It does not require much preparation by the Army. While Pakistan will have to make a big stop on the border. So Pakistan is openly trying to avoid talking about war. Pakistan is making a lot of noise in the world these days on the Kashmir issue.
