SRINAGAR: Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have held a joint press conference in Srinagar today over the infiltration of Pakistani militants into Jammu and Kashmir. Lt Gen KJS Dhillon, commander of the Chinar Corps in the Northon Command of the Indian Army, said that the Pakistani Army and the ISI are responsible for the terrorist activities in Kashmir. He said Pak terrorists are trying to target Amarnath Yatra. But the Indian Army is fully prepared to deal with terrorists.

Lt Gen KJS Dhillon said, "The Army is constantly monitoring the terrorist activities in Kashmir. Peace in Jammu and Kashmir will be maintained at all costs. Young terrorists throwing stones at the Indian Army have become terrorists. "There are 83 stone-pelting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir," Lt. Gen. K.J.S. Dhillon said, adding that an M-24 American sniper rifle (with a telescope) was recovered from a secret location on the Sri Amarnath Yatra route.

"There has been a decline in the number of terrorist cases in Kashmir. Quoting intelligence sources, reports that a group of five Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists from Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) have infiltrated into the Indian territory.
