New Delhi: Indian Army is going to buy 12 high-performance patrolling boats. These patrolling boats will be deployed at Pangong Lake in Ladakh. From where the Indian soldiers will be able to keep a close watch on every activity of China. Since May last year in Ladakh, there has been a situation of confrontation between India and China. The arrival of these patrol boats will increase India's strength to keep an eye on China's antics.

The special thing is that the Indian Army has tied up to buy these patrolling boats from the Indian government company Goa Shipyard. That is, the Indian Army is working on the appeal of PM Modi of self-reliant India in defense deals. The Indian Army said it has signed an agreement with the state-run Goa Shipyard Limited for the purchase of 12 fast patrol boats for monitoring and patrolling in large reservoirs, including lakes located in high altitude areas. The Army has tweeted that the delivery of these boats will start from May 2021. That is, after just 5 months, the security scenario in Pangong Lake will look changed.

Pangong Lake is frozen at this time due to the harsh winter. A similar situation will remain here for 3-4 months. In the summer, when the lake melts, new boats will be deployed for patrolling.
