New Delhi: The security in India is under review as the Taliban, a terror group in Afghanistan, is in power. Indian soldiers will now be trained under the new module to secure the borders of the country. The new training module will be operated with Taliban focus and is being prepared keeping in view the kind of war strategy that the Taliban has.

It may be recalled that with the Taliban coming to power, Pakistan-backed terror outfits are feared to be active once again and it is believed that terrorist activities in South Asia may increase once again. The Indian Army and armed police forces are constantly reviewing their preparedness after the Taliban's victory in Afghanistan last month. A few days ago, it was also feared that it was necessary to step up vigil along India's western border after the Taliban government was formed, as the Pak border could promote terrorist infiltration, including many foreign terrorists.

A senior official on security matters told the media that jawans involved in anti-terror duties like border security forces, state police units like BSF and SSB and CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police will be trained under the new module.
