Currently, work is underway to build this missile defense system for India in Russia. Russian officials have said that it will be delivered to India by 2021. For the long-term security requirements, India signed a $ 5.43 billion agreement with Russia for the purchase of five S-400 systems during the 19th India-Russia Annual Bilateral Conference in New Delhi on October 5, 2018.
