Indian Army’s recruitment rally begins in Mariani

In order to induct youths into the armed force, an army recruitment rally began in Mariani in Assam on Saturday. In the rally,  Youths from 15 districts of upper and central Assam who will participate in the rally that will continue till February 25.

The recruitment rally is being organized under the aegis of the Army?s zonal recruiting office in Shillong. A similar army recruitment rally will also take place in Dimapur in Nagaland from March 10 -20. The Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles conducted a pre-recruitment training camp for youths of Mizoram at its headquarters in Aizawl to prepare them for the recruitment rally to be held in Dimapur.

The rally will be held for selection of candidates to Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical and Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) posts. The minimum educational qualification required for these posts is Class 10th pass, class 8th pass and 10 2 pass.
