India's current national champion Arjun Erigaisi has taken a singles lead after the third day's play of the 7.5 lakh rupees online Indian Chess Tour Championship. On the third day's play, Arjun has scored a total of 10 points with three wins and a draw. Arjun defeated Abhijeet Gupta, P Inion and Abhimanyu Puranik, who was leading till yesterday, while Lalit Babu played out a draw with MR.

Raunak Sadhwani also managed to register three wins on the third day, defeating Adhiban Bhaskaran, Surya Shekhar Ganguly and Lyon Mendosa, who were in the joint lead till yesterday, though they suffered an unexpected defeat to Harika Dronavalli.  

According to reports, Raunak is running in the second position with 22 points while Abhimanyu Puranik, SL Narayanan and D Gukesh have come in joint third place with 21 digits.
