By the year 2025, it is expected to reach its target force levels of 200 surface platforms and 80 aircraft. It has captured drugs and illegal goods worth close to four thousand crores of rupees in the recent year.

In the past year, it has confiscated drugs and illegal goods valued close to Rs 4,000 crore. Additionally, ICG has confiscated illegal goods and drugs worth roughly Rs 12,000 crore since its start.
