Kutch: A Pakistani boat that entered India from the Jakhou sea border in Kutch, Gujarat has been seized. About 35 kg of drugs has also been recovered from the boat. According to the sources, the drugs recovered from the boat Jamjam are worth 175 crores in the global market. In this joint operation of Gujarat ATS and Coastguard (ICG), 5 Pakistani citizens have also been arrested, who are under questioning.

Giving information about the case, a Gujarat ATS official said that we had received information from reliable sources that a consignment of drugs was being brought to Gujarat for supply by sea route. After this, it became known to the sources that this consignment of drugs is being sent from Pakistan in a fishing boat. After receiving the information, the ATS officials approached the Indian Coast Guard and a joint operation was launched to capture the smugglers and seize the boat.

The ATS and the ICG launched a joint operation with the Indian Coast Guard Fast Interceptor Boats (IBs) at Jakhou in Kutch. To catch the smugglers, the commandos of the Marine Water Force were put in boats in the sea coming to the Indian border.
