New Delhi: In a tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the Indian team all the best for the World Cup. Wishing team India for the victory in the World Cup PM Narendra Modi wrote, "Best wishes to all Indian team players for the World Cup.

According to the sources, the PM said that these tournaments were a witness to the finest cricket, the spirit of the game persisted and we should consider it in the best way. India and South Africa are competing on the ground of the Rose Bowl. The Africa team won the toss and decided to bat first. Today is India's first match in the World Cup.

Let's start with South Africa batting first in the ongoing Mukabalen today. At the score of just 24 runs, the team's two wickets fell. On the second ball of the fourth over, Jasprit Bumrah showed the way to the pavilion by catching opener Hashim Amla (6) off Rohit Sharma.
