Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra is all set to make his Broadway debut as a director with his record-breaking worldwide blockbuster 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.'Â Yes, 26 years after the release of the film, the new look of DDLJ is going to be seen. Released in 1995, the love story of 'Raj' and 'Simran' is all set to be chronic as Broadway music. Aditya Chopra himself has announced this today i.e. Saturday and has given a new surprise to his fans.
Under the information received, he has been working on this project for the last 3 years. Now the love story of 'Raj' and 'Simran' from 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is going to be presented on stage as a musical play i.e. Broadway. According to reports, 'Come Fall in Love: The DDLJ Musical' will premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, USA. In fact, Vishal-Shekhar has joined this Broadway as a musician. Under the information received, Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Raojiyani will work as composers.
Also, Aditya has selected a team of internationally renowned legendary technicians for his first theatrical performance. Tony and Amy winner Rob Ashford (Frozen, Thoroli Modern Mili, The Boys from Syracuse) will choreograph the production along with associate choreographer Shruti Merchant. According to reports, Come Fall in Love: The DDLJ Musical will be performed on stage in the Broadway season of 2022-2023, which will have a world premiere during September 2022 at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
