Pakistan arrested two Indians, Foreign Ministry says 'sent back without harming'

New Delhi: India has demanded diplomatic access to two Indian nationals arrested in Pakistan. India has said that both will not have to fall prey to Pakistan's propaganda. Prashant Vaidham and Vari Lal, who are from Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, were arrested on 14 November in Bahwalpur, Pakistan.

The Pakistan police claim that Wyndham and Dhari Lal were arrested by a patrolling team of the Yezman police on November 14 when they were illegally entering Pakistan from Cholistan area in Bahawalpur district. On this, the Foreign Ministry of India has now said that, we hope that both will not have to fall prey to Pakistan's propaganda. Both should be brought back to India without causing harm.

The ministry has said that India has demanded from Pakistan that diplomatic access be granted to both the citizens - Prashant Vaidham and Dhari Lal, who have been arrested by the Pak authorities. At the same time, Prashant's father Baburao, who hails from Hyderabad, has claimed that his son was missing for two years. He also told that his son is an engineer by profession. Baburao said that he had lodged a report of his son's disappearance at Madhupur Police Station in April 2017. Baburao is surprised how his son reached Pakistan.
