Kuala Lumpur: India has urged Malaysia to extradite Islamic preacher Zakir Naik. Zakir Naik has been on a walkout to deliver money laundering and Garijan speech in India. Zakir Naik has been living in Malaysia for nearly two years to evade Indian law. He has been absconding after a terrorist attack in Bangladesh in 2016, which was filed here.

Zakir Naik had said two days ago that he was ready to return to India provided the apex court would tell him in writing that he would not be arrested unless he is actually found guilty. In a statement, the fugitive Islamic Dharma campaigner Naik said he had faith in the Indian judiciary but did not believe the trial. Naik stressed that, "even after allegations and complaints, not a single verdict has come against me in any court anywhere in India or the world."
