New Delhi: While giving the information, Joint Secretary of the Union Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal has said that so far 76% of men have been found infected with coronavirus, while 24% of women have confirmed infection. Aggarwal said that most cases of infection are seen in the youth.

According to the Ministry of Health, 47% of the infected are under 40 years of age while 34% of those aged 40-60 have been found infected. 19% of the patients are over 60 years of age. On the other hand, if we look at the figures of the dead, 73% of the male infected have died so far, while 27% of the women have died due to infection. 63% of the dead are above 60 years of age, while 30% are aged between 40 and 60 years. 7% of the deceased are under 40 years of age.

There were 86 such people who lost corona, who had other diseases like diabetes, heart disease, hypertension earlier. Aggarwal has said that so far 4076 cases have been confirmed in the country. Of these, 1445 were involved in the marakaj of the infected Tablighi Jamaat. Apart from this, a large number of those who came in contact with the deposits have also been found infected.
