Pawandeep Rajan, a popular contestant on the famous television singing reality show Indian Idol 12, has taken time out from his busy shoot to visit his home in Champawat, Uttarakhand. After returning home, Pawandeep, who popularised his state all over the world, also got a chance to meet Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat. He sought the blessings of his state CM for his further journey of Indian Idol and was also given a shawl by the chief minister.

In fact, for the past two months, the Indian Idol team had been shooting in a bio bubble in Daman. Because of this, they have not got an opportunity to meet their families. Now, after getting the approval of shooting in Maharashtra, the entire idol team has returned to Mumbai. However, the Indian Idol 12 team has about a month's series of episodes ahead as they shoot two episodes a day back to back.
