The 90s special episode telecasted on the Indian Idol 12 show last week. Due to this, three popular 90s singers Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik attended as guest judges. The contestants of the show gave a tremendous performance on the superhit songs of the time. Prior to Nachiket's performance, his mother revealed something that made everyone emotional. Nachiket's mother Ashwini Lele said that her mother was a very big fan of Kumar Sanu. She had cancer. She used to listen to Kumar Sanu's song whenever she felt pain. In one evening, both of us were listening to your song, Nachiket's grandmother gave goodbye to this world.

Hearing this, all the judges including Kumar Sanu became emotional. Ashwini further said that if she is watching from above today, then she will be happy that I told you this thing. Kumar Sanu also became emotional after listening to Nachiket's mother. Kumar said that thank God he made me capable of this. Subsequently, Kumar Sanu also sang a song for Nachiket's grandmother.
