New Delhi: Several north Indian states, including the national capital Delhi, can see a change in weather within the next 24 hours. Delhiites suffering from scorching heat may get relief in the coming 24 hours. According to the MET department, Delhi may receive rainfall till August 19. The department says light to moderate rain may continue in Delhi for the next 5 days. That is, it may rain in Delhi even on the day of the Raksha Bandhan festival. Delhi is expected to rain with thunderstorms on August 23.

IMD has reported that western disturbances continue over north India and Pakistan. There is also cyclonic circulation. It may affect the weather in the coming days. Coming to monsoon turf, it is built over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha. At the same time, a low-pressure area has also developed along the Odisha coast. The impact can be seen all over India.

According to the MET department, heavy rainfall may occur in the eastern coastal states, central India, and north-eastern Indian states in the next two to three days. Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa are also cloudy. According to the department, rainfall may occur in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, entire North East India, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu on August 18.
