Lucknow: North India is getting relief from the cold fog. Winter is now ready to say goodbye in many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana. While heavy snowfall continues in the hill states. The mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are covered in a white sheet of snow.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the cold in the plains is gradually decreasing. The weather in Delhi and NCR is pleasant. It is mild cold in the morning and evening. Whereas the temperature remains normal due to sunny blooms during the day. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light rain and snowfall in some parts of the Western Himalayas during the coming 24 hours.

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, similar weather is expected to remain in the country's capital for the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of light rain in some areas of Uttar Pradesh in the next 2-3 days. The snowfall in the mountains can still continue. In Chakrata, Uttarakhand, heavy snowfall has spread white sheets of snow all around in the high altitude areas.
