The American brand Indian Motorcycle is bringing two new powerful bikes FTR 1200 S and the FTR 1200 S Race Replica in India. The two motorcycles will be launched on August 19. The company announced its price in October 2018. These include 1200 S priced at Rs 14.99 lakh and 1200 S Race Replica at Rs 15.49 lakh. However, it is not yet clear whether these two bikes will be launched at the same price or there will be some price changes.
The Indian motorcycle started booking the two bikes in October 2018. These bikes can be booked at Rs 2 lakh. Both are street bikes and were introduced during the EICMA motorcycle show in 2017.
According to media reports, the company has launched a new liquid-cooled 1,203cc V-Twin-engine in both the bikes. The engine produces 120bhp and 112.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The FTR 1200S features several premium features including Bosch Stability Control, Riding Modes, 4.3-inch Ride Command Touchscreen Instrument Console with Six-Axis sensors. The FTR 1200S and 1200S race replica are built with the latest technology. These bikes have an upright riding position, which keeps better control on the road during riding. Both the bikes will have LED lights, fast charging USB port and anti-lock braking system with cruise control. Their suspension is completely unstable.
