Navy prepared special sensor to fight Corona, know what is the specialty

Mumbai: In order to check the people to prevent the spread of corona virus infection, the Navy dock here has designed a low-cost, small thermometer sensor. An official has given this information on Thursday. Nearly 20,000 people enter the Western Naval Command in South Mumbai and the naval dockyard, about 285 years old.

The officer has said that all employees are examined at the gates. Only then they are allowed to enter. He has told that it cost just Rs 1,000 to build this sensor based on infrared technology. The official said that in view of the corona virus epidemic, investigation is necessary to stop the spread of the virus in the western fleet and within the dock. He told, "There is a shortage of thermometers in the market and their price is also high, especially after the outbreak of the epidemic, it is causing shortage."

He said that in view of this, the Navy dock has designed its own IR based thermometer sensor. The official said that the device has an infrared sensor, an LED display and a micro controller that runs on a 9-volt battery.
