New Delhi: In the midst of the ongoing deadlock between India and China, the Navy will also buy drones. The Navy has decided to purchase 10 surveillance drones soon after the government has approved upgrading drones for the three services. These drones will take off from the Navy ship and keep a close watch on China's warship in Indian waters.

Sources in the government told a private news channel that these drones would be purchased under the fast track process. Their purchase will be completed in the next year. These drones can be purchased through open bidding. The Navy plans to deploy these drones on a large-sized warship. This will help in finding out about the activities of opponents around the Indian waters as well as in China. These drones are expected to be deployed on warships for surveillance and reconnaissance activities.

The Indian Navy is also working on a project to get Sea Guardian drone from the USA. Through this, they are planning to expand its surveillance in the country's water areas, which reaches from Madagascar to the Malacca Strait and beyond.
