New Delhi: Paracetamol packets sent by India to Britain will soon land in the British market. India is sending medicines to many countries to deal with the coronavirus. In this, hydroxychloroquine has been supplied to about 55 countries, which is being called a game-changer drug in the present circumstances.

Government nod must for investment from these countries

A British High Commission spokesman said, "We thank the Government of India for approving the export of 2.8 million packets of paracetamol to the UK. The medicine will be distributed in leading supermarkets and retailers in the UK." He also said that, "In decades we are facing the biggest threat like coronavirus, so it is necessary that we work together to continue the global trade and to meet the supply. To defeat the coronavirus we will continue to work closely with India and other countries."

Both countries are working under several multilateral forums to fight the corona epidemic. On April 15, finance ministers of the G20 agreed on an economic action plan to reduce the global economic losses of the coronavirus epidemic. This action plan was carried forward by Rishi Sunak, President of the British Treasury along with Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
