NEW DELHI: Aishwarya Pratap Singh of Khargon district of Madhya Pradesh has won the gold medal on the seventh and final day of the championships, setting a junior world record in the men's rifle three positions on Friday. India has so far won 24 medals, including 10 gold, 9 silver, and 5 bronze medals, in the tournament. India has bagged 4 medals out of 8 ISSF tournaments this year and has secured the top spot in the medal tally.

Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, a resident of Ratangaon near Jhirnya in Khargon, has won the gold medal with 459.3 points, representing the Indian team in the 50 meter 3 position air rifle event. This is not the first time that Aishwarya has already won the country from her sport, even before Aishwarya has made the country shine in many competitions. On the other hand, Aishwarya's acquaintances are delighted to win Over India in Germany and are congratulating Aishwarya's parents.

In the tournament held in the German city of Shule, Hungary's Jalan Plaker finished second and China's Zhang third. This is India's tenth gold in this tournament. So far, India has won 24 medals.
