Priyanka, a kabaddi player from Adampur Dhadhi, a village in Charkhidadri town in Haryana, shared some things about her personal life. She told me that when she achieved the Kabaddi World Cup in the year 2012, she thought she will be offered a  good job, but no one even asked. Then she won the gold medal in the 2014 Asian Games, she again thought that her life will change, because the government in the centre and the state had also changed. But it is very sad that the situation is still the same as before.

She further said that even after many years of winning the medal at the international level, she is still waiting for a good job. The pain of this star player in the country is also reflected in her words. She says that it hurts that I am still far away from getting a good job. I only got assurance that a good job will be given and with this assurance six years passed.

Further, Priyanka says that when the other players got the job, she was happy and hoped that now she will also get it, but the wait is not over yet. The daughter of a soldier and farmer gave many moments of glory to the country but has been wandering until today to get a job. Recently, on the orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Kabaddi player Kavita was appointed as Deputy Director in Haryana Sports Department, the government is patting itself on the back. Priyanka has expressed her pain over this.
