Preparing to beat Corona, changes Railway coaches into isolation ward

Bhubaneswar: There is a steady increase in the cases of Coronavirus in the country. A 21-day lockdown has been implemented in the country to deal with the coronavirus epidemic. The central and state governments are engaged in taking measures to prevent the coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Indian Railways is changing its train coaches into isolation wards.

East Coast Railway has also come forward in the fight against Coronavirus. The East Coast Railway is now converting 261 coaches into isolation wards. Out of these 261 coaches, 46 coaches are being made isolation wards at the coaching depot of Bhubaneswar in Odisha. Indian Railways have prepared isolation wards in train coaches in East Central Railway zone in Bihar. Isolation wards have been prepared in train coaches at Rajendra Nagar Terminal railway station in Patna via Indian Railways in the war against Coronavirus.

According to the railway, this will help in the treatment of coronavirus patients in remote areas. Toilets and seats of coaches in which the Railways have built isolation wards have also been converted. Bathroom is also provided. Doctors and nurses will also be present in these isolation wards of Railways and special care will be taken for cleanliness.
