New Delhi: Indian Railways has gained momentum in the mission 'Homecoming'. Indian Railways is working on a mission mode to transport migrant laborers stranded by special trains to their home state due to lockdown amid Corona epidemic in the country. Due to which the migrant workers struggling with the crisis can be transported to their home as soon as possible.

According to the information given by the Railway Ministry on Sunday, the Railways on Saturday transported 2.39 lakh migrants from 167 labor special trains to their home state. Let me tell you that Indian Railways is making every effort for the facilities of the passengers in the special trains being run during the Corona epidemic. Along with this, full attention is also being taken for social distancing.

Indian Railways is ready to run labor special trains from all the districts related to its network. For this, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has sent a letter to collectors of all districts. According to a statement issued by the railways, the railway minister has asked all the district collectors in the letter to prepare a list of the trapped laborers in their respective districts and apply to the railways through their state nodal officer, so that Workers special train should be arranged.
