New Delhi: Good news for Indian Railway employees. Bonus for railway employees may be announced today before festivals. It is being reported that 78 days bonus may be announced this time too on the lines of last year. Railway employees get paid a bonus before Dussehra. It has been followed for the past several decades.

The Railways has been giving the bonus to its employees every year. Last year also, railway employees received a bonus of 78 days during the Corona crisis. Last year, employees received Rs 17,951 as a bonus. Earlier, the government had also increased dearness allowance for employees of Indian Railways. These are employees who are getting salaries under the Sixth Pay Commission. Dearness Allowance (DA) of Indian employees has been increased. The dearness allowance of these employees has been increased by 25 percent. 

On the other hand, Coal India Ltd. (Coal India Limited) has announced a performance-based incentive (PLR) of Rs. 72,500 per employee for all its non-executive cadre workforce for the financial year 2020-21. Maharatna Company said in a statement that performance-based rewards (PLR) will be paid by or before October 11, 2021.
