New Delhi: Central Railway has announced to run 68 more special suburban trains from September 24 today. The number of local trains running on the Central Railway suburban section has increased to 423. Earlier, 335 special suburban trains were operating and now 68 more trains have been started operating. The Central Railway has tweeted and informed about it.

"Central Railway has added an additional 68 services to 355 services running before September 24 to maintain social dissing and avoid congestion in the crisis of the Corona epidemic," Sentrell Rewal wrote in a tweet. A total of 423 special suburban (suburban section) trains are now operational," and the Railways has appealed to the passengers to follow the social dissing, under which passengers are required to wear masks at entry/exit and on-journey. Special urban services are for the required staff identified by the state government.

Thus, the Central Railway has taken this decision to better adhere to the protocol of social dissing and avoid congestion. Earlier, Western Railway had increased the number of local trains running on Mumbai sub-urban to 500. On Western Railway section, 350 special suburban trains were operating for employees of essential services notified by the Maharashtra government, with another 150 trains operating, after which the number of suburban trains on mumbai suburban section increased to 500.
