Indian Railways announces 80 special trains to run from September 12

New Delhi: Indian Railways has announced the launch of 80 new special trains from September 12. Bookings can be made from September 10 to travel on these trains. Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar said on Saturday that Indian Railways is going to operate 40 pairs of special trains from September 12. The seat booking will start from September 10. The Chairman said that these 40 pairs of trains, i.e., 80 special trains, will be operated in addition to the 230 trains already running. He said trains will be run as per the demand and requirement of the states.

Earlier, it was reported that Indian Railways is preparing to give a big gift to its home goers at festivals. Indian Railways plans to operate 120 special trains for Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja. Railways have made plans to run 120 festive special trains. However, there is a long waiting list on trains.

In fact, the festive season begins this month. For Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath, passengers are looking for train tickets to move towards their homes. To meet the same demand, Indian Railways has planned to run 120 special trains. Special trains will be operated on Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna routes besides the national capital. Indian Railways is discussing the same with the governments of Maharashtra and West Bengal.
