Indian Railways Extends Vande Bharat Express Services, Enhances Connectivity

Indian Railways has announced an expansion of services for three Vande Bharat Express trains, aimed at enhancing passenger convenience. Notably, the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will now extend its route to Prayagraj, with a stoppage at Rae Bareli.

The extended schedule for the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will commence at 6.05 AM from Gorakhpur, arriving in Lucknow at 10.20 AM. From Lucknow, the train will depart at 10.35 AM and reach Prayagraj at 13.35 AM. In the return journey, it will leave Prayagraj at 3.15 PM, arriving in Lucknow at 6.15 PM, then departing from Lucknow at 6.30 PM and reaching Gorakhpur at 10.40 PM.

Simultaneously, the Bangalore -Dharwad Vande Bharat Express, introduced on June 27, will now extend its route up to Belagavi, with a stoppage at Londa Junction. Departing Bangalore at 05.45 AM, it will reach Hubli at 10.50 AM, depart at 10.55 AM, and reach Dharwad at 11.20 AM. Continuing its journey, the train will depart Dharwad at 11.25 AM, reaching Belagavi at 1.30 PM.

The return trip will see the train leave Belagavi at 2.00 PM, reaching Dharwad at 3.15 PM, departing again at 4.20 PM to reach Hubli by 4.45 PM. The final leg will commence at 4.50 PM from Hubli, arriving in Bangalore at 10.10 PM.

Furthermore, the Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express has been extended to Udhna. Presently, the country operates 34 Vande Bharat Express trains, showcasing a commitment to enhancing rail connectivity and passenger experience.
