Indian Railways has announced to operate Ganpati special trains due to Ganesh Utsav. Railways announce the introduction of 261 Ganpati Special Trains for all routes keeping in view the convenience of the people and reducing the additional congestion during the festival season. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav tweeted this news.

According to the same Railways, these Ganpati Special Trains will run till 20th September 2021. In addition, additional sleeper class coaches have been installed in various trains running from Mumbai to reduce congestion due to Ganeshotsav. Only those with pre-reserved tickets on these special trains will be allowed to travel. Also, at the time of travel, all people are required to follow all the rules related to coronavirus.
