New Delhi: The first POD hotel has been launched by the Indian Railways. If you go to Mumbai on a short business trip or want to take a group of children on a tour, this hotel is the best place to stay. This POD hotel has a lot of facilities for passengers. In addition, the fare here is also very low. POD Hotel has been launched at Mumbai's Central Railway Station.

 

If a train passenger is tired after travelling, he or she can also stay at this hotel. The POD Hotel will have all the facilities for the guests. Passenger guests can stay here for 12 to 24 hours. The fare for the stay will range from Rs 999 to Rs 1,999. On the other hand, the rent for private PODs will range from Rs 1,249 to Rs 2,499. The POD Hotel has been constructed on the first floor of Mumbai Central Railway Station. All arrangements have been made to stay here.

Small beds are installed to make passengers sleep and relax. This room will be like a compartment. According to media reports, 48 such POD rooms have been built at present. These include private PODs and classic PODs. Separate PODs are created for women. Special PODs have also been prepared for persons with disabilities. This POD hotel will also have a free WiFi facility. Facilities like a clean washroom, lager room, shower room, the common area will also be available. It will also have a television and charging point facility. Reading lights will also be arranged for reading in the POD.
