New Delhi: Six Indian companies are also working in the global race to find a vaccine to prevent the deadly infection of the corona epidemic. But top Indian scientists say that it is not possible to win the vaccine discovery race before 2021 as opposed to the time between the rapid spread of infection throughout the world.

Coronavirus infection has engulfed more than 19 lakh people globally, while over 1.26 lakh people have lost their lives. Scientists from all over the world are trying to find a break from this dangerous epidemic. According to Gagandeep Kang, executive director of the Faridabad-based Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, global research and development efforts have been unmatched by expansion and speed to defeat the corona virus epidemic.

However, Kang, also appointed as the Vice Chairman of CEPI (Epidemic Preparedness Innovation Alliance), has also stated that the testing process of any vaccine is multi-layered, complex and with many other challenges. As a result, it may not take 10 years to find the SARS-Cove-2 (Kovid-19) vaccine like other vaccines, but after finding a vaccine to provide it safe, effective, and on a large scale, at least It will take at least a year.
