P V Sindhus father P V Ramana has said the World Champion is in London preparing for the next year's Asian Badminton World Federation's calendar. He said at the ongoing national camp in Hyderabad "her practice was not happening properly". She is in London for the past 10 days and has posted a picture with sports nutritionist Rebecca Randell of the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI), in her social media on Monday.

Her father said the parents were not able to stay with the Olympic silver medalist for a duration of two months so she went alone. She went to London purely for a practice nothing to do with personal things and we are happy family living together. He refused the compliant that Sindhu left London due to family dispute. He further complained her practice was not happening properly here. The chief coach is not providing a proper practice partner to train with her. She was not having enough quality practice and fed up with the treatment.

The coach when asked said he knew about Sindhus move to London but refused to say about the remarks on him. Her father said Sindhu already informed the Badminton Association of India (BAI) about her trip to London and had also kept Gopichand in the loop. In a letter to BAI she also requested them to put a word to Badminton England as she is staying there for eight weeks and will be practicing with the England team. In her instagram post, Sindhu confromed there were no issues with her family and the coach.
