New Delhi: An Indian student has lost his life in a firing in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The Ministry of External Affairs tweeted the news. The Ministry of External Affairs said, "It is with deep sadness that we confirm that an Indian student was killed in firing in Kharkiv this morning. The ministry is in contact with his family. We express our deepest condolences to the family.''

At the same time, he said that the Foreign Secretary is calling on the Ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine to reiterate our demand for an immediate safe passage for the Indian people, Indians are still present in the cities in Kharkiv and other conflict areas. Earlier, according to Oleh Sinhubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Russia opened fire on Tuesday on an administrative building along with residential buildings in the heart of Kharkiv, which did not say how many people were killed in the firing.
