New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal. It is expected to change in a deep low-pressure area which can turn into a cyclonic storm in the coming 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in southern Tamil Nadu and southern Kerala on 2-3 December. Due to the impact of the cyclonic storm, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh are expected to receive rains between 1 to 4 December. iving information, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the pressure zone over the southeast Bay of Bengal can turn into a cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours.

Seeing the alert of this cyclonic storm, fishermen have been instructed to go to the beach. The Collector of Kanyakumari said that the fishermen who have taken their boats to the sea to catch fish should return to their homes as soon as possible. He has advised to stop all fishing activities. Due to the deep pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, heavy rainfall has been predicted in Kerala on 2-3 December.
