New Delhi: The weather has turned pleasant in the country's capital Delhi and adjoining cities of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on Monday. The sky is cloudy and cold winds are blowing. In fact, rain in most parts of north India late on Sunday evening brought relief from the heat.
The Met department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall in several states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, delhi is likely to witness light drizzle amid cloudy movement. Thundershowers have been forecast in the country's capital on May 12, 13 and 14. According to the Met department (IMD), light to moderate rain may occur at many places including Rewari, Bawal, Palwal, Aurangabad, Sivani, Mahendragarh, Gohana, Sonepat, Kharkhoda, Maham, Rohtak, Noonh, Kosli (Haryana), Baraut today.
In Uttar Pradesh, Hapur, Pilkhua, Ghaziabad, Noida, Siana, Sahaswan, Kaithor, Garhmukteshwar, Baghpat, Modinagar, Galouthi, Amroha, Bilari, Jehangirabad, Chandausi are likely to receive rain in the next few hours. According to the Met department, the sky in Delhi will be cloudy today and tomorrow. There may also be dust storms and thundershowers in some areas.
